Mariah Carey, one of the Top 10 best-selling music artists of all time, will perform a Christmas show at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center, at 8 pm on 20 November, it was announced Tuesday.
Twenty-two years ago, Carey released her first Christmas single, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” which became her biggest hit, selling more than 14 million copies, and among the best-selling songs of all time, Christmas or otherwise.
She since has released holiday classics such as “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” and “O Holy Night.”
Carey is the No. 9 best-selling music artist of all time, having sold 136 million albums in the United States and 200 million worldwide. She is the third-best-selling female artist of all time, behind Madonna and Rihanna.

BERLIN
November 21 to January 1
The hip German capital will be hosting some 60 Christmas markets across the city so there's plenty of chance to have a festive gluhwein and browse the Christmas gifts.
Don’t miss Winter World on Potsdamer Platz in the city centre which will be transformed into a vast winter wonderland with Europe’s biggest toboggan run.
And you can fuel up with food and drink along with other seasonal treats at the Christmas Market at Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, which is open through to January 1 and makes a great place to go for a stroll as the new year begins.
DRESDEN
Dresden from November 24 to December 24
Altmarkt Square in the heart of historic Dresden has held a Striezelmarkt since the mid-15th century, making it Germany’s oldest. The outstanding attraction is the Christmas pyramid, towering at over 14 metres – the setting for the pyramid singing festival.

Mix chic shopping in the French capital with visits to its magical Christmas markets selling traditional produce and arts and crafts.
With over 350 wooden chalets, the market at La Defense (metro Grande Arche de la Defense) is the biggest one, while Champs-Elysees claims to host the city’s most beautiful one.
And for traditional French Christmas sweet treats head to the market at the foot of Montparnesse Tower.
FRANKFURT

This is the Christmas market that led to the one in Birmingham. Birmingham has been twinned with Frankfurt for 50 years and in 1997, the organiser of the festive market in Frankfurt decided to create a spin-off version in Birmingham.
Frankfurt's own market dates from 1393 and is one of the oldest in Germany.
The tourism website for Frankfurt says: "In terms of the visitor numbers and size, the Frankfurt Christmas Market is one of the most important Christmas markets in Germany.
"The elaborate and creative stand decorations, the scenis surroundings of the Römerberg and Paulsplatz and the huge Christmas tree also make it one of its most beautiful."
On the website Germany Insider Facts , where German resident Rita Amend has compiled a travel guide for overseas visitors, it claims: "Frankfurt Christmas market is one of the most beautiful in Hessen, and one of the oldest in Germany.
"Many German cities and towns have a marvellous backdrop of historic houses and beautiful places for their market. However, the scenery and atmosphere on the Römerberg in Frankfurt is especially enchanting.
"If the Frankfurt Christmas Market doesn’t put you into high spirits and into a special festive mood, there won’t be hardly any other Christmas market in Germany to accomplish this.
"Take a stroll across the market, listen to Christmas carols and church bells, smell the aroma of roasted chestnuts and almonds, cinnamon stars, mulled wine and Feuerzangenbowle (a rum-soaked sugarloaf)."
VERONA

STRASBOURG
November 25 to December 31
Voted number one Christmas Market 2015 by European Best Destinations for the second year in a row, Strasbourg’s Christmas market is one of the oldest in Europe, having been around since 1570. Set in front of the Strasbourg Cathedral, it attracts more than two million visitors.
BRUSSELS
November 25 to January 1
Brussels’ Christmas market is open for five weeks in total. Enjoy the enchanting delights of Brussels in one place including tasting sessions, an ice-skating rink, an original light and sound show and a fun-filled festive Christmas parade.
VIENNA
November 12 to December 24
Most cities in Austria have Christmas markets, but Vienna alone hosts around 25.
Their markets have been around since 1294 when Albrecht I of Germany allowed Vienna’s citizens to hold a December Market or Krippenmarkt.
A stunning sight, Vienna’s Christmas markets include one in front of City Hall, the traditional Viennese Christmas marketon Freyung, the markets on Spittelberg, Am Hof and another in front of the church of St. Charles Borromeo (Karlskirche).
MUNICH
November 25 to December 23
The cosmopolitan capital of Bavaria turns into a winter wonderland during the festive season.
From the end of November right up to Christmas Eve, the streets will be draped in shimmering snow and illuminated by twinkling fairy lights.
Munich has a wealth of wonderful Christmas markets, with the most well-known being the traditional market at Marienplatz outside the city’s beautiful Town Hall.
INNSBRUCK

From the middle of November until January, the Tirolean capital’s Old Town market is a truly festive sight.
Surrounded by medieval houses, Christmas tree lights twinkle beneath the city’s famous Golden Roof with the snow-dusted Nordkette mountains as a seasonal backdrop you can browse round more than 60 stalls displaying wooden toys and hand-carved nativity scenes.
Watch out for fairytale figures such as Little Red Riding Hood and Sleeping Beauty and other fairytale figures from the stores of the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Anderson adorning the alleyways.
